Mini Woven Tapestry Workshop— with Linda Livesey

On this workshop we will cover the basic of tapestry weaving in order to produce a small textile. This could be complete in itself for a card or, incorporated on larger piece of work. You can include additions such as stitching or attach beads or found objects.

The following list is equipment you may need, if you have them....

Bead loom—if possible any size

Small rectangular embroidery frame or small picture frame

Large tapestry needles, scissors, a fork

Yarns — a selection, stranded, wools, crochet cotton Beads, found objects.

There is a small starter kit available if needed

Just a few ideas using a variety of yarns for both

the warp and the weft
